3Ls: Apply Now for Post-Grad Clerkship with Judge Fowlkes

The Honorable John T. Fowlkes of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee is seeking a member of the Class of 2019 to serve as a post-graduate judicial law clerk.  The Clerkship begins in the fall of 2019, with the clerk serving for a term of 1 year. Judge Fowlkes has been a wonderful supporter of the Memphis Law Externship program, has regularly hired U of M clerks, and would like to see a large applicant pool for this position.

In support of applications, Judge Fowlkes asks that interested 3L students submit a cover letter (addressed to Judge Fowlkes), current resume, and writing sample. Applicants may also send in additional materials (e.g., unofficial transcript, references) that they believe will be helpful for Judge Fowlkes to review.
