***3L: Intended May Graduate? Need a NAME CHANGE? You’re cutting it close!***

The last day to apply to graduate in May 2017 is JANUARY 27th! Contact this office immediately if you have not completed your graduation checklist or if you have completed it and have not received the email telling you how to submit your graduation application!

Similarly, the last day to change your name for purposes of the graduation program and diploma is also January 27th. The Commencement Office is cracking down on enforcing this deadline, so if you delay this, you do so at your own risk. You can check your official name on your myMemphis account to see how it will appear.

*If you completed your checklist, you should have received an email from me, so you should first check your official university email from last fall to make sure you did not, in fact, receive such an email. It is a good opportunity to practice being a lawyer by checking your research before you ask a question that you should be able to answer!
