2Ls: Summer 2018 Internship with TN Alcoholic Beverage Commission (Nashville)

The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission seeks a student intern for the summer of 2018. The TABC is responsible for regulating all aspects of the alcoholic beverage industry in Tennessee. This internship offers an opportunity to work closely with the TABC’s legal team and to gain significant firsthand experience. The successful candidate will review applications for various licenses to ensure that the applicant meets all legal requirements, negotiate resolutions of administrative citations, assist in the preparation and prosecution of administrative contested case hearings, advise law enforcement agents investigating criminal and regulatory violations, conduct legal research, and advise the public and other state agencies on matters related to alcoholic beverage law. This is a full-time, unpaid position (although you can earn your pro bono hours at Memphis Law).

Anticipated end date 8/3/18
