2Ls: OCI Employers with August 29th Deadlines

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (apply by August 29; found in Symplicity OCI, “FALL 2021 OCI (Sept 7-10)” Hall Booth seeks a 2L to serve as a Summer 2022 Associate in its Memphis office. The firm primarily handles medical malpractice defense and general civil litigation. Compensation is $1500 per week. Top 25% of the Class and Law Review or Moot Court preferred.. Interviews will be held for selected students on September 8th.

ARMY JAG 2L Summer Paid Internship (apply by August 29; found in Symplicity OCI “FALL 2021 OCI (Sept. 7-10). “The internship runs for 60 calendar days beginning after Memorial Day. Interns can be assigned to any JAG office worldwide. Interns must pay their own travel and lodging costs, but will be assigned a sponsor at their duty station to help them find housing and settle in to the area. Summer interns assist Judge Advocates in a variety of practice areas, including legal assistance (family law, consumer law, estate planning, tax law, military administrative law), administrative law, and helping to prepare criminal and civil cases by conducting legal research, writing briefs and opinions. Interviews will be held for selected students on September 9th.

Glassman Wyatt (apply by August 29; found in Symplicity OCI “FALL 2021 OCI (Sept 13-17).” Glassman Wyatt seeks a 2L to serve as a 2022 Summer Associate in its Memphis office. This is a 10 week paid clerkship with the start date to be determined upon hiring. The firm focuses on Civil Litigation. Selected applicants will be interviewed on campus on September 15.
