Individual Bar Counseling
Individual counseling is an opportunity for Memphis Law bar takers to discuss study schedules, receive feedback on written assignments, to discuss individualized preparation strategies, and to ask questions.
Students may make an appointment and some walk-in assistance is available. Counseling is available in person or by phone. Email Professor DeShun Harris at d.harris@memphis.edu to schedule an appointment or for more information.
Alumni Bar Mentoring
We’ve created a partnership with some of our alumni to bring you an alumni mentoring program. The program is designed to provide you with someone that has taken the bar exam and passed who will provide encouragement and support as you prepare for the bar exam. Many of our mentors are recent bar takers and will know the experience of utilizing a bar preparation program as they are currently designed. The mentoring is designed to accommodate you so it may include as little as receiving encouraging weekly emails to someone you may discuss preparation strategies with. More information about the pairing process will be available in the coming weeks.
