1Ls: Mandatory Academic Advising Sessions – Mark Your Calendars – Thurs, March 19

Dear 1Ls:

Please mark your calendars for two upcoming, mandatory academic advising sessions.  These sessions are part of the mandatory 1L workshop series, and they have been advertised on the workshop calendar that has been publicized to you beginning in December. 

Workshop 1:  Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Noon in Wade Auditorium

Dean Romantz will host an academic advising workshop on Thursday, March 19 at noon in Wade Auditorium.   He will discuss academic requirements, registration, class selection, etc.  This meeting is mandatory for all 1L students.  Please contact Dean Aden as soon as possible if you have an unavoidable conflict.

Workshop 2:  Monday, March 23, 2015 (see attached assignments below)

On Monday, March 23, all 1Ls will attend a small section academic advising workshop during your usual large section Legal Methods class time.  You have been divided into groups and assigned to a classroom, where Dean Romantz, Jamie Johnson, or Dean Aden will meet with you to answer questions and provide additional information about registration, class selection, academic requirements, etc…  This meeting is mandatory for all 1L students.  Please contact Dean Aden immediately if you have an unavoidable conflict.
