2023 IP LITIGATION SUMMER PROGRAM
Our IP Litigation Summer Program offers aspiring IP Litigators an unparalleled depth of training, tailored mentoring from lawyers in our award-winning Intellectual Property Litigation practice, and a two year offer of summer employment.

IP Litigation summer associates will work alongside the firm’s larger summer associate class and participate in exciting networking, team building, and training activities.

PATHWAYS PROGRAM: 1L DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP & DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The Pathways Program: 1L Diversity Scholarship provides first year law students with in-depth legal training, mentoring, and real-world experience throughout Latham’s ten week 2023 summer program. As a 1L Diversity Scholar, you’ll also work on secondment in one of the firm’s clients’ legal departments, gaining a different perspective on the work, and invaluable exposure to clients.

The Diversity Leadership Academy connects Latham lawyers from around the globe with talented first year law students to develop and empower future leaders of the legal profession. Your Pathways Program application will automatically apply you to the award-winning Diversity Leadership Academy.

Selection Criteria
The application process is open to all law students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, regardless of race, color, religion, citizenship, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, military service, disability, or any other characteristic or condition protected by applicable law.
Latham’s Recruiting Committee will evaluate all applications and consider the following factors:
Academic and leadership achievements
Life experiences that have shaped values and professional goals
Relevant experience (academic, clinical, externship, and/or employment)
Relevant technical background (engineering, computer science, chemistry, biology, or physics)
Desire to practice in the IP Litigation Group
