We also have opportunities to sign up for free one-on-one financial counseling (including planning your personalized borrowing repayment strategies) on September 16.

Max by Access Lex – A Free Online Platform to Help Smartly Finance Your Legal Education

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with AccessLex Institute, the largest nonprofit organization in the country focusing on access, affordability and the value of legal education, to bring you MAX by AccessLex®, an innovative personal finance program created exclusively for law students.

To provide a comprehensive personal finance education, the MAX program:

  • Teaches personal finance in a way that leverages the skills law school attracts and fosters;
  • Takes a multi-format approach – including interactive online lessons, webinars, in-person workshops and one-on-one counseling – that lets you define your own path;
  • Delivers information in quick and easy to understand components to fit into your demanding schedule; and
  • Offers scholarship incentives to 1Ls to motivate you to stay on task and on schedule – AccessLex will award over $100,000 through MAX Scholarship drawings during the 2019-20 academic year!

One of the program’s defining features is its building-block curriculum. So, you can access timely financial planning information at each stage of your law school career.

To get started, go to AccessLex.org/MAXonline. Your name, email address, school and class year are all you need to log-in to the program, personalize your experience and track your progress. No other personal information is required, and all information remains confidential.
In the coming days, I’ll be posting additional information about Max to help you navigate the helpful tools.

Please let me know if you have any questions about these resources.

Thanks,
Dean Aden
