$1,000 Administrative Law Writing Competition

The Administrative Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association is accepting submissions for its 2026 Administrative Law Writing Competition, awarding a $1,000 cash prize to the winning paper.

The competition is open to law students enrolled in a Tennessee law school during the 2025–2026 academic year. Students may submit an article, note, case comment, or essay on a topic of Tennessee or federal administrative law, including work written for academic credit. Joint submissions are not eligible.

The winning paper will be published in Administrative Law Connect, the TBA’s administrative law newsletter.
