PALS PRESENTS, “HOW TO PRO BONO,” THURSDAY, AUGUST 24, 2017, ROOM 226, NOON
Thursday, August 24, 2017, the Public Action Law Society (PALS) will present “How to Pro Bono,” during the PALS general body and interest meeting in Room 226 at noon. Ms. Josie Holland will share a how-to lesson on pro bono, and Ms. Danielle Salton will speak about pro bono opportunities available to all students at Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS) throughout the year. You will also meet the PALS Executive Board who will tell you how to become a member and about 1L leadership opportunities with the preeminent student service organization on campus. Finally, Ms. Sarah Belchic will introduce you to Alternative Spring Break (ASB) and opportunities to get intensive real world legal experience in the community, starting your 1L year, while earning pro bono hours in one of the eight tracks, including the new Health Law Track. Chick-fil-A™ will be served to attendees.
