Fall 2017 Legal Clinic and Externship Courses – OPEN SEATS REMAIN!
You can still apply for enrollment in a Fall 2017 Clinic or Externship Course! As many of you already know, enrollment in a Legal Clinic or Externship offers valuable legal training and experience, and allows you to earn credit while bridging the gap between law school and law practice.
Just a few open seats remain in the following Legal Clinic Courses being offered this fall:
- Elder Law Clinic (Prof. Harkness)
- Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic (Prof. Goode)
Additionally, several field placement opportunities remain available through the Fall Externship Course, including:
- Judicial Externships (e.g. U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, TN Supreme Court)
- Criminal Practice Externships (e.g. District Attorney and Public Defender Offices)
- Civil Government Externships (e.g. City Attorney’s Office, Airport Authority)
- Health Practice Externships (e.g., Baptist, Regional One)
- In House Counsel Externships (e.g., University of Memphis Office of Legal Counsel)
- Community Law Office Externships (e.g., Memphis Area Legal Services, Latino Memphis, Mid-South Immigration Advocates, Legal Aid of Arkansas)
