Attorney General’s Honor Program and Summer Law Intern Program Applications now open!
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Adjudication, Recruitment, and Management, is excited to announce that the Attorney General’s Honors Program (HP) and Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) application is now open! The application deadline is Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Applications must be submitted via the online application.
The Department has many great opportunities available through the HP and SLIP, including over 180 permanent and time-limited entry-level attorney positions and over 50 paid summer legal internships. Multiple components and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices are hiring second and third year law students and eligible graduates through both programs. Interested candidates will find litigation, policy, and advisory opportunities in a variety of practice areas.
