Moot Court Competition and Conference
Greetings everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the remaining weeks of your summer break! The Hispanic Law Student Association wanted to bring a great opportunity to your attention. The National Latina Latino Law Student Association is holding their annual Moot Court Competition and Conference on Oct 1-3, 2015 in Chicago. Registration is now open for anyone interested in attending the conference. Also, anyone interested in participating in the Moot Court Competition must fill out the Notice of Intent which is due to the NLLSA Attorney General via email by Friday, July 31st. Greetings!
My name is Juan Quevedo, and I am the South Atlantic Regional Director for the National Latina Latino Law Student Association (“NLLSA”). My role is to encourage law students and attorneys from the South Atlantic region to participate in the 19th Annual Moot Court and National Conference October 1-3, 2015 in Chicago.
First, I am excited to announce that you may now register for the NLLSA Conference using this link: https://sites.google.com/site/nllsaconfreq/. Students can also find more information about the Conference, including hotel and transportation information, here: http://nllsa.org/conference/. We are diligently working to plan a great Conference, and we expect it to be the best one yet!
Second, I would like to inform you that students and coaches who are interested in participating in the Moot Court competition must fill out the Notice of Intent. The Notice of Intent is due to the NLLSA Attorney General via email by Friday, July 31st. More information about the Moot Court Competition can be found here: http://nllsa.org/moot-court/. Third, my term as South Atlantic Regional Director will end at the Conference. Therefore, law student and attorneys from the South Atlantic Region will be able to run for my position. This is a great way to represent you school or law firm on a national level while meeting students and attorneys throughout the America and American territories along the way.
