Renter’s Rights Volunteer Opportunity

The University has been collaborating with many attorneys and agencies around the community to support the Emergency Rent and Utility Assistance Program. One of our contributions has been setting up an information table in Shelby County General Sessions Court to inform the public about the ERA program and other renter’s rights issues.

We are calling on student volunteers who are interested in staffing the table and giving information to the public. The table is located in the General Sessions Court and will be staffed every day from 9:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:00. The job will include giving people information and handouts.
