St. Jude Memphis Marathon/Downtown Street Closures

This coming Saturday morning, December 6, is the St. Jude Memphis Marathon.  Downtown will face street closures, thousands of runners (and filled parking lots), and a heavy police presence .  The wheelchair race is set to begin at 7:50 a.m., and those running on foot will begin in waves at 8:00 a.m.  Runners will have the right-of-way, and the police will hold up traffic for the runners.  You can find a link to the course map here.

The law school will be open, but it may be difficult to get here and park.  We recommend coming to school early (before 7) or later in the day once the race is underway.  The best route to the law school is probably to take I-40 to Riverside Drive.
