6th Circuit seeks Paid Summer Business Analyst Intern, apply before March 9
The United States Courts for the Sixth Circuit is seeking a Business Analyst intern to join our team this summer. The Sixth Circuit offers a forward-thinking work environment with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to your development. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience that makes a positive impact on the administration of the federal court system. While this position is located in Cincinnati, the pay is $36.50 per hour.
Position Summary The Business Analyst Intern’s primary responsibility is to collect, review, and analyze information related to court operations, special projects, and activities. Duties include: prepare reports, summaries, and findings; prepare and present recommendations; and draft legal and administrative documents, manuals, and correspondence.
This is a full-time internship beginning in May 2020 and ending in August 2020, depending on the student’s school calendar.
Qualifications: Skill in researching, analyzing, and providing recommendations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Skill in evaluating operations and discerning trends. Skill in preparing reports. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and exercise appropriate discretion in dealing with confidential information. Applicants must have completed at least one year at an accredited graduate-level legal administration program, law school, or related field.
